Nokia is paying homage to four inspiring individuals this week. On Wednesday 15th February we will be down at the Design Council in London between 2:30 – 4:00 pm to host the ‘Nokia Social Innovation Lab’ and we would love you to come down.
In this social media lab for Social Media Week London you’ll get the chance to take in some inspiring anecdotes from the lives of entrepreneurial stars. We are showcasing four individuals who have worked tirelessly to turn the everyday into something amazing.

Becky Straw: Co-founder of ‘The Adventure Project’
The Adventure Project is a non-profit organization established to increase investments in positive social enterprises around the world. Founded in 2010 by Becky Straw & Jody Landers; who joined forces to raise awareness and funds to support the world’s most-effective social ventures.
Working in Haiti and throughout Africa, Becky has seen enormous potential for sustainable development through the power of enterprise. Becky lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Jess Ratcliffe: Founder of GaBoom
Jess Ratcliffe is the genius behind the successful video games swapping website GaBoom! She had a vision for her business at the age of just 10, when she used to swap video games with neighbours and friends.
Since then, Jess has worked non-stop in making her vision a reality. GaBoom has been running since July 2010 and attracts a wide range of ages. The most active members are aged between10-30 years old and everyone can join online for free.
Tricia Bertero: CMO of TextPlus
Tricia is the Chief Marketing Officer at GOGII, where she leads strategic partner relationships and oversees all marketing and communications.
Tricia has 18 years of entertainment experience across Marketing, Sales and General Management. Prior to joining GOGII she held leading roles at Activision, including; VP Global Brand Management, SVP North American Sales and SVP European Publishing.
Andre Campbell: Founder of Enfuse Youth
Andre Campbell is an award winning start up founder, consultant and public speaker living in the City of London.
Andre has dedicated his life to entrepreneurship, international development and working with young people. He founded Enfuse Youth; a youth education consultancy that aims to improve the lives of young people. In 2008 the company began working with several high profile clients across the U.K including the BBC, DTT, Facebook and SOLA amongst others.

Hello there, I am so excited I found your site, I really found you by error, while I was researching on Yahoo for something else, Anyhow I am here now and would just like to say kudos for a fantastic post and a all round thrilling blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to go through it all at the moment but I have saved it and also included your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read more, Please do keep up the awesome work
