Coming at you with an all-new edition, #MakeMeSmileMonday is back with a partly crowd-sourced from last week’s post, partly Tom-sourced party for the senses (admit it, this is the feature you most look forward to on Nokia Connects). Time to put the grin in the daily grind.

As ever we open with Star Wars news. I promise it’s not an obsession here at Nokia Connects. Honest. Anyway the utterly excellent R2-D2 bath mat featured above is a mere hors d’oeuvre to the main meal of what I’m about to deliver to the table that is your screen. Ready? How about a full length version of Episode IV: A New Hope (Star Wars to you or I) broken down into 15 second chunks, each made by a different fan? I kid you not.
At the time of writing, I am about 20 minutes in (I’m savouring the genius), and I’m hooked.
Much respect to herbjorn who left a link to this in the comments last week. The first MMSM hero. You made me smile
*****
The next link that was sent to us last week was this bit of fun from Ahards. It’s a great way to waste a few minutes of your day (during a work break, obviously), and certainly brought a smile to my face – if only when I discovered I’m not the great artist I thought I was.
Try it, you’ll like it (there’s more to it than just drawing
).

Cute video alert:
If that doesn’t make you smile, then you’re a grumpy grumpface from Grumpsville.
Thanks to Louis Frayser for that one!

What’s the best 404 page in the world? This one from Russian company Kvartirakrasivo.
So. Much. Good.
The dancing guy
The music
The dude nodding his head
The playlist (see top right)
The option to mute
The fact I have *no* idea what it says (despite studying Russian at school for 3 years)
Anyway, whatever they’re on about, they made me smile.
*****
I’ve got room for one more, so how’s about this for a great vid? What do you get when you mix one big piece of paper, one bowl of red paint, one basketball and one girl?
via Oh I See Red (via Gizmodo)
Pretty special skills, right? Made me smile, anyway.
****
It seems that the lemmings of time have marched to the cliff face of deadlines so – as the carrot-munching cartoon rabbit used to say – ‘That’s all folks’.
Got any links that you think will make me smile? Leave it in the comments and you may well see it appearing next week. In the meantime, let me know what made you smile this week (apart from this post, of course
)

Hey, more smiles here, but I think there should be a prize for the best Stickman link, like a Lumia 710 or something like that!

Two things that made me laugh this week: 1. I suddenly discovered season 3 of one of my favorite tv series (Justified) had already started to be aired, 2. the 404 page you just posted
